Overview

As a Senior Digital Media Manager at Performics, you'll lead sophisticated performance campaigns, partner with some of Australia's leading brands and play a key role in developing our next generation of talent. You'll combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen and digital expertise to drive growth for clients while helping shape a culture of excellence across the agency

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Digital Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving client success, developing team capability and delivering operational excellence across performance media campaigns.

Client & Campaign Leadership

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of digital media campaigns aligned to client objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign delivery, optimisation and performance reporting.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted strategic advisor.
  • Identify opportunities to drive growth and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Develop insightful performance narratives that connect media results to business impact.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and support junior team members to build capability and confidence.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Share knowledge, best practices and industry developments across the team.
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for quality, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Oversee campaign setup, pacing, optimisation and budget management.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently and on schedule.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team effectiveness.
  • Support commercial growth by uncovering opportunities to expand client partnerships and services.

Agency & Culture Contribution

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and media partners.
  • Contribute to agency-wide initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Champion innovative thinking and performance excellence.
  • Support award submissions, recognition programs and a culture of collaboration and achievement.

Qualifications

 

Experience 

  • Demonstrated expertise across digital media planning, buying, optimisation and performance reporting.
  • Strong understanding of paid search, paid social, programmatic and digital media ecosystems.
  • Experience managing multiple clients and complex campaigns in a fast-paced agency setting.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing media budgets and campaign forecasting.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications or a related discipline.
