As an Experienced Associate in our Tax practice, you will provide advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will analyze and interpret local tax laws and regulations, assisting businesses in complying with local tax requirements and optimizing their local tax positions. You will be expected to adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file state and local insurance premium tax returns accurately and on time.
- Calculate premium tax estimates and manage payment schedules to ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
- Analyze and interpret state and local insurance tax regulations and legislation to assess impact filings.
- Utilize premium tax compliance software tools to increase efficiency and accuracy in tax filings.
- Stay current with changes in insurance premium tax laws and best practices.
- Support process improvement initiatives and maintain documentation of procedures.
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
