Key Responsibilities
The fitter is responsible to the Second Engineer/Chief Officer for:· Assisting the engine room watch keepers/UMS duty engineers as required, in particular with regard to the maintenance of the plant· Maintaining all machinery, technical equipment, plant etc. as instructed and under the supervision and guidance of an Engineer Officer· Adopting safe working practices · Undertaking any other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer and/or Second Engineer
