Assistant Document Control
As an Assistant Document Control, you will be responsible for controlling and maintaining essential quality documentation, including product certificates, test records, and Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs). Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal quality procedures.
Reporting to the Sr. QA Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available. Your work will contribute directly to product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

- Control and maintain product certificates, test records, and Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs), ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments to collect, organize, and maintain technical documentation.
- Review documentation to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain efficient document management systems and ensure documentation is stored in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide drawings, product certificates, and test records to internal and external customers when required.
- Coordinate and monitor the product certification process, including scheduling inspections with external inspection agencies.
- Investigate and resolve documentation deviations related to material certificates and test records, ensuring product quality is maintained.
- Work closely with the Document Control Engineer to review progress, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues on document control procedures and best practices.
- Contribute to maintaining a culture of quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Essential Qualifications
- HAVO diploma or equivalent, preferably in Technical Administration, Document Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in document control or a similar administrative role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience with document management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive, quality-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with material certificates and Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs).
- Familiarity with quality management systems and product certification processes.
Previous experience supporting Quality Assurance or Engineering teams.
