Job Role: Digital Marketing Manager
Compensation range: $2,000-2,500 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is:
Role Overview: We’re looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts and drive consistent lead generation across our growing home services business. Your primary focus will be managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns while also supporting SEO, social media, and digital content initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making data-driven decisions, and becoming a trusted member of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Paid Advertising (Primary Focus)
- Manage, optimize, and scale paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Monitor campaign performance, budgets, conversions, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, A/B testing, and campaign optimization to maximize lead generation.
- Track and report on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Lead the transition of paid advertising management from an external agency to an in-house function over time.
SEO Collaboration
- Work closely with the external SEO agency to align marketing initiatives and support organic growth.
- Monitor SEO performance and identify opportunities to improve website visibility and search rankings.
- Collaborate on content strategies and website optimization initiatives that complement paid advertising efforts.
Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content across relevant social media platforms.
- Support brand awareness and customer engagement through consistent social media activity.
- Monitor social media performance and recommend improvements based on analytics.
- Allocate approximately 5 hours per week to social media management.
Content Creation & Video Editing
- Create and edit basic marketing videos for social media, paid advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Repurpose existing content into engaging digital assets while maintaining brand consistency.
- Design simple marketing creatives using modern content creation tools.
Marketing Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute digital marketing initiatives aligned with business growth objectives.
- Analyze campaign and website performance using marketing analytics tools.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the business owner and key stakeholders to identify new opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Digital Marketing Manager, Performance Marketing, or similar digital marketing role.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
- Solid understanding of SEO, social media management, and digital marketing best practices.
- Basic video editing skills using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Proficiency with marketing tools including Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Thrives under pressure and enjoys being measured by the results and value delivered to the business.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and take full ownership of responsibilities.
- Able to think strategically while maintaining exceptional attention to detail when executing campaigns.
- Self-motivated, honest, and able to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
