Team Lead
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Team Leads to support daily operations for a large-scale warehouse project. This role is responsible for leading small teams of general laborers, ensuring productivity, safety compliance, and smooth workflow execution.
The ideal candidate has prior supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse, logistics, construction, or industrial setting and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a team of 6–10 associates per shift
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently
- Monitor productivity, attendance, and overall team performance
- Enforce all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and site rules
- Assist with hands-on tasks including box assembly and material handling
- Support MHE (equipment) testing activities as needed
- Communicate daily priorities and updates to team members
- Identify and resolve workflow or personnel issues quickly
- Ensure all workers complete required training and certifications before starting
- Act as the main point of contact between staff and site leadership
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience REQUIRED
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, construction, or general labor environments preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable performing physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a background check
- Must complete required safety training and site certification (VCO) prior to start
- Spanish speakers preferred
