Who We Are

LinqAlpha is a Boston-based AI startup founded by MIT PhDs and Goldman Sachs bankers, building AI-native financial research products for global institutional investors such as hedge funds and asset managers. Institutional investors in Korea and abroad use LinqAlpha every day for real research work — company analysis, earnings and disclosure interpretation, investment due diligence (DD), and market briefings. Beyond delivering research solutions, we serve as a technology partner, providing advanced multi-agent systems and infrastructure for the financial industry.

Today we are scaling rapidly as a global team spanning New York, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

On this dynamic global stage, we're looking for a Certified Public Accountant to help build our finance and accounting foundation with us.

The Accountant We're Looking For

A high-impact role driving the company's growth. In a flat culture, you'll cover the full breadth of finance and accounting — from monthly close to subscription revenue recognition, ERP, and internal controls — designing and refining the processes that fit our stage of growth. We're looking for someone who approaches open-ended problems flexibly and is comfortable iterating quickly to find the best answer.

Ownership beyond the close. This isn't a role that simply repeats a fixed monthly deadline. You'll design accounting processes and internal controls suited to our growth stage, automate repetitive work, and build out our financial framework.

Growth on a global stage. You'll handle financial matters across multiple entities including New York, Singapore, and Hong Kong. We welcome people who learn new domains quickly and feel at home collaborating with global teams.

What You'll Do

  • Close & Financial Reporting. Build and run monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes andprepare financial statements (K-IFRS / US-GAAP).
  • Close & Financial Reporting. Prepare financial reports for management and the board, along with account analyses and reconciliations.
  • Revenue Recognition. Review subscription-based contracts and handle revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), including deferred and unbilled revenue.
  • Revenue Recognition. Maintain consistency across ARR/MRR, billings, and recognized revenue.
  • Treasury & AR/AP. Manage customer invoicing and collections and vendor payments (AR/AP), and operate intercompany settlements between the parent and subsidiaries.
  • Tax. Handle Korean and overseas tax filings and communicate with external tax advisors.
  • ERP & Process. Implement and operate ERP systems, standardize and automate accounting processes, and establish internal controls and financial policies.
  • Global. Handle accounting for multiple global entities and produce English-language documentation and communications with overseas counterparties and partners.

What We're Looking For

  • At least one of KICPA (Korean CPA) or AICPA (U.S. CPA)
  • 7+ years of finance and accounting experience, including time at a public accounting firm
  • Experience independently designing, building, and operating finance and accounting frameworks, including close and financial reporting
  • Business-fluent English (able to communicate with overseas counterparties and partners and draft English contracts and documents)
  • Deep understanding of K-IFRS, US-GAAP, and close-process practice

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a Big 4 firm (Samil PwC, Samjong KPMG, Deloitte Anjin, EY Hanyoung)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Anaplan, NetSuite, or Rillet
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or financial services
  • Hands-on experience with subscription revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) and SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR/Churn)
  • Experience building a finance function at a startup, or leading a new ERP implementation or migration

Culture & Benefits

• Title-free culture: everyone goes by name

• Flexible start times (8 to 10 AM), no clock-in pressure

• Professional development support (books, courses, seminars)

• Lunch and dinner meal allowance

• Free snack bar, coffee machine, and beverages

• Top-spec equipment (latest MacBook, monitors, and more)

Outstanding colleagues who are the best at what they do
