Maintenance - DSC Mechanic
The DSC Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe operating condition of our Fredericksburg Distribution Center. The DSC maintenance technician must be a self-directed individual and have proven knowledge of electrical systems installation and repair.

Schedule: 4th Shift: Thursday to Sunday, 7:00am to 5:00pm
Shift Differential: $1.00/ Per Hour
This position is also eligible for a bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans

- HVAC Responsibilities
- Robot Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Maintenance, Troubleshooting and repair of equipment, including forklifts, hi-lifts, and order pickers, wrappers, vacuum-hoists, etc
- Perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned
- Perform carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting and plumbing tasks as needed
- Perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance and repair of the DSC and its systems, including fire and security systems. (Including Security Gates and Systems)
- Maintenance on Dock Doors and Dock Plates
- Monitoring and Maintenance of Building and Grounds as Needed (Including Snow Removal Responsibilities)
- Maintain a clean, orderly, safe work environment
- Manage scheduled PMs to ensure that PMs are completed during the week they are scheduled
- Manage scheduled work orders to achieve a monthly minimum of 90% compliance
- Manage maintenance expenses to achieve budgeted spending
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience in mechanical aptitude and training
- Must have two (2) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Must have one (1) year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Have at least three (3) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Have an industrial, electrical, and/or welding certification or license
- Have experience in electrical systems installation and repair
- Have formal training in or one (1) year of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
