Job Description:
The Manager of Strategic Value Initiatives identifies, prioritizes, and delivers data‑driven and automation‑enabled improvements across Controls, Operations, and Supervision (COS). The role partners with business and control stakeholders to translate operational problems into scalable solutions that reduce risk, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable outcomes.
This job is responsible for developing and executing long-term strategies for a broad business area, ensuring integration across lines of business to drive growth and market penetration. Key responsibilities include defining resource needs, leading planning and implementation, managing complex projects, overseeing testing and defect resolution, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver outcomes. Job expectations include influencing decisions, ensuring governance, tracking success measures, mitigating risks, and driving innovation through continuous improvement and change leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and frame operational problems into actionable transformation opportunities
- Review, refine, and prioritize intakes aligned to risk, efficiency, and strategic goals
- Partner with stakeholders to design data‑driven and automation‑enabled solutions
- Support delivery of approved initiatives with strong governance and controls
- Measure, validate, and report realized business and risk outcomes
- Enable adoption through stakeholder engagement, coaching, and change support
- Develops and implements long-term strategies for a business area
- Manages complex projects from initiation to delivery ensuring milestones and outcomes are met
- Identify and mitigates risk to safeguard project and business objectives
- Influences decision-making and facilitates alignment across teams
- Drives innovation by championing change and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvement, business transformation, or operational change initiatives
- Experience working in regulated, risk‑aware, or control‑focused environments
- Proven ability to translate business problems into structured requirements and actionable solutions
- Experience partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level documentation and presentations
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting data‑driven, automation, or AI‑enabled transformation initiatives with quantifiable outcomes delivered
- Familiarity with enterprise analytics, reporting, or automation tools such as SQL, Python, and VBA
- Experience quantifying and reporting efficiency, capacity, or risk‑reduction benefits
- Prior experience operating within formal intake, prioritization, and governance frameworks
- Exposure to change management, process redesign, or continuous improvement methodologies
