On our Marketing Analytics team, this person will help empower our Marketing departments to make data-driven decisions by providing the right data at the right time throughout various areas of the organization. You will become a “go to” expert on all things data while working closely with internal stakeholders to support various business initiatives. This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States. Not based in Denver? What you’ll be doing:Provide Reporting and Dashboarding that monitor, track, and analyze business performance and resultsAnalyze teams reporting and data requirements and architect appropriate solutions, with detailed design documentsLeverage reporting best practices to automate reports and find creative solutions to maximize reporting outputCreate and refine visual representation and communication of complex dataDevelop a logical, structured approach to conduct ad-hoc analyses and work backwards from hypothesesDesign, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and pipelines related to Business IntelligenceSample projects:Extract, wrangle, and automate large data transfers (on the order of trillions of rows) to democratize data and empower data-driven decision making across the companyManage, monitor, and provide recommendations on the quality of various data streamsDesign and create aggregate and summary tables for reporting efficiency purposesAnalyze and deliver data to provide actionable insights about the effectiveness of the business above and beyond standard analysisEmbrace and uphold Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & A good idea can come from anywhere What we are looking for:1+ years of experience in Analytics within an agile organization as well as familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence platforms2-5+ years of practical work experience in SQLBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experienceProven ability to develop, maintain, automate, visualize, and communicate reporting for management and internal clientsExperience in end to end BI tool creation, including working closely with business context and stakeholders to outline how business intelligence can inform decision makingAbility to clearly and professionally communicate data, processes, and results to senior leadershipFollow through to complete projects through to end user acceptance and proper documentation for robust and easy to maintain end productsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDetailed oriented team player with an ownership mindset Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Looker Business Intelligence platformExperience using DatabricksExperience with business and marketing conceptsKnowledge of pipeline orchestration tools, Github, PythonExperience with event driven architecture About Ibotta ("I bought a...")
