Summary:
Our IT team keeps Anaconda's 550+ employees productive from day one, no matter where they work. As we scale toward $500M ARR and integrate acquisitions like Kilo and Emerald, smooth device provisioning, account management, and technical onboarding are mission-critical. We're looking for an IT Support Specialist who can handle a busy ticket queue independently and step into an informal leadership role, guiding teammates and improving processes without needing formal authority.
What You'll Do:
- Manage user accounts, system imaging, device provisioning, and software installations across macOS, Windows, and Linux environments
- Execute technical onboarding and offboarding for employees, ensuring new hires and acquisition cohorts are fully equipped on day one
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming support requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, A/V, video conferencing, and network issues
- Keep ticket data current in our tracking system and maintain accurate inventory records for all computer equipment
- Train users on hardware and software, translating technical concepts into clear guidance for non-technical stakeholders
- Use AI tools to speed up troubleshooting, documentation, and ticket triage
- Guide and unblock teammates on complex tickets or recurring workflows, sharing knowledge and building team capacity
- Collaborate with IT Engineers and the Business Systems Analyst on special projects, contributing to infrastructure improvements and tooling decisions
Your Impact Will Be Measured Through:
- Ticket resolution time and queue health, keeping employees unblocked quickly
- Smooth execution of onboarding and offboarding, especially during acquisition integration spikes
- Evidence within the first few months that you're helping teammates resolve issues faster or more consistently
- Ownership of at least one recurring process by day 90, with measurable improvements to reliability or speed
What You Need:
- 3+ years of experience in end user IT support, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and inventory management
- Experience supporting macOS, Windows, and Linux or any combination of these operating systems
- Proficiency with mobile device management (MDM) platforms and inventory management systems
- Daily use of AI tools – whether that's drafting documentation, running down a troubleshooting path faster, or triaging a ticket queue. Not just awareness of AI; it's part of how you work
- Experience interfacing directly with internal customers daily and maintaining strong working relationships across departments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a lean team with minimal oversight
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- You're someone teammates want to work with – steady when things are hectic, generous with your knowledge, and genuinely invested in the team doing well
- You've mentored or trained a teammate, or taken ownership of improving a broken process without being asked
- You have experience managing onboarding or offboarding during company acquisitions or rapid growth periods
- You're comfortable with server operating systems, virtualization, or containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
- You go beyond basic AI tool usage – you've built prompts, workflows, or automations that saved your team real time, and you can show your work
- You've worked at a fast-paced startup where you had to figure things out as you went and prioritize under pressure
- You have experience in an open-source, AI, or data science company where technical users expect fast, knowledgeable support
- You embody our values: 'Curious by Default', 'Build Together', 'Own It', and 'Lead with Guts and Heart', and our behaviors: Clarity, Care and Candor
- You care deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish
Why You'll Like Working Here:
- You'll thrive in a high-performance environment where results are recognized and rewarded
- Your work directly contributes to shaping the future of data science, machine learning, and AI in the enterprise.
- You'll work alongside a collaborative team that values diverse, thoughtful discussion, clarity and candor.
- You'll be supported by a culture that puts employees first - with flexible hours, a fully remote setup, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing and growth.
