Job Summary

The Sr. Product Manager for Private Passport Platform is responsible for refining and delivering the integrated client experience, including UI/UX strategy, messaging, notifications, and self-service capabilities, ensuring a secure, scalable, and seamless client experience. Working across business, product, engineering, UX, operations, risk, compliance, and security teams, this leader aligns platform priorities, shared services, and business objectives to drive adoption, enhance client outcomes, and support the continued growth of Private Passport.

Major Duties

  • Lead planning and execution across platform domains focused on UI/UX frameworks, documents, alerts, messaging, notifications, and overall usability and usage.
  • Drive a consistent, intuitive, and high-quality client experience across all capabilities, channels, and devices.
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple agile teams and shared capability product domains to ensure dependency alignment and predictable outcomes.
  • Partner across product, engineering, UX, and shared services teams to deliver aligned, scalable solutions.
  • Build out and leverage client insights, analytics, and market trends to identify opportunities and prioritize enhancements.
  • Define product requirements, epics, features, and user stories to support agile delivery.
  • Establish platform standards and governance to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and go-to-market activities for new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Monitor product performance through KPIs, client feedback, and adoption metrics, driving continuous improvement.
  • Support business development efforts through client engagement, industry participation, and thought leadership.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep experience with UI/UX, design, usability, and delivering high quality client experiences.
  • Expertise in client communications via documents, alerts, notifications and in and out of app messaging.
  • Expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, lifecycle management, and Agile delivery.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and usage of Asure Dev Ops or similar.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, cloud-native architectures, shared services, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience building and using analytics and client insights to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of risk, compliance, audit, and security requirements within regulated environments.
  • Proven leadership and program management capabilities.

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Advanced product management or financial services certifications preferred.

Salary Range:

$114,500 - 194,700 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
