We’re looking for someone who is organized, focused, and thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
You would support a busy Pathology office as office assistant and responsible for addendum reports, customer service and send out testing via FedEx.
What you will do:
Customer service, fax and answer phone calls, as well as placing occasional orders and Kronos support.
Addendums of Pathology Lab reports.
Support Pathology Team with additional office tasks as needed.
Work Hours/Shift:
Per Diem; work hours 8am-4:30pm - must be available to train 3 days per week for 2 weeks.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in an Allied Health Field preferred.
One year of working experience in a medical office or hospital, preferred.
Three years of experience as a Medical Word Specialist /Transcriptionist in an acute-care setting, preferred.
Evidence of ability to transcribe all work types.
Demonstrated proficiency in a Windows computer environment, required.
Demonstrated knowledge of dictation & transcription word-processing systems and equipment.
