As a Senior Associate in the FMS RTR role, you will engage with clients to enhance their financial operations, focusing on improving efficiency and effectiveness. Within our Finance Consulting practice, you will specialize in analyzing client needs, developing financial solutions, and providing guidance to optimize financial performance. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward is unclear.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will assess financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions to streamline operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services. This position offers the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and inform insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities across assigned accounting areas in accordance with close calendars and quality standards.
- Prepare, post, and maintain journal entries, supporting schedules, and calculations, including those related to media accruals, technology costs, and operational expenses.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate reconciling items, and drive timely resolution.
- Conduct financial variance analysis and provide clear explanations to FP&A, accounting partners, and other stakeholders.
- Execute data analysis to support accounting processes, reconciliations, and investigations involving large data sets and high-transaction volumes.
- Respond to audit requests and provide documentation for internal and external audits, including SOX controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Media Finance, Procurement, Tax, Payroll, and Internal Audit.
- Maintain accurate workpapers and desktop procedures, and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
