Job Description

• Monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts and physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies using ERP/WMS systems and ordering materials needs for upcoming orders.
• Shipping & Receiving Oversight: Verify delivery documentation and inspect incoming shipments for damage. Ensure outgoing orders are accurately packed, weighed, and accompanied by correct Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Workflow Optimization: Organize warehouse layout for efficient storage. Troubleshoot bottlenecks and collaborate with other departments like purchasing, transportation, and customer service
• Staff Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff. Assign tasks like picking, packing, loading, and unloading. ensure raw materials are continuously supplied to the production floor
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA and company safety guidelines, ensuring proper use of PPE and material-handling equipment like forklifts

Qualifications

Supervisory Responsibilities  

Oversee 5-15 employees.

Qualifications and Experience 

• High School Diploma or equivalent  

• Two to four years related experience or equivalent 

• Knowledge of material handling practices and procedures 

• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates 

• Commitment to excellence and high standards 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills 

• Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks 

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow 

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm 

• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees 

• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines 

• Strong interpersonal skills 

• Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels 

• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions 

• Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions 

• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary

• Proficient on Outlook, Excel, Qpulse 

Physical Requirements 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:  

• Walk/stand/sit for long periods of time  

• Lift and move a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance 

• Repetitive hand/arm use 

Work Environment 

• Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high 

• PPE required as determined by company safety standards:  safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes 

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00 per hour, based on experience.
