About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant to lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of client solutions within the CounselLink legal operations platform.

In this client-facing role, you will partner with corporate legal departments to understand complex business requirements and configure solutions across Legal e-Billing, Matter Management, Claims Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, Analytics, and AI-enabled workflows. You will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through deployment, training, and post-launch support.

This position requires strong consulting, stakeholder management, project implementation, and problem-solving skills. Periodic travel may be required to support client engagements, team meetings, and industry events.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end client implementations within the CounselLink platform.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and business process reviews to understand client objectives and requirements.
  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Translate clients into scalable system configurations and solution designs.
  • Configure and support solutions including Legal e-Billing, Matter Management, Claims Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, Analytics, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot functional and technical issues throughout implementation and post-launch support.
  • Manage project deliverables to ensure implementations are completed within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Create user guides, training materials, process documentation, and best-practice resources.
  • Support changing management activities to drive successful adoption and business outcomes.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively manage issue resolution.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including senior leaders and executive audiences.
  • Deliver presentations, demonstrations, webinars, and solution reviews for clients and other audiences.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to address client needs and support long-term success.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, including AI capabilities, and identify opportunities to improve client and internal business processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience implementing, configuring, or consulting on CounselLink, legal operations software, or comparable enterprise technology platforms.
  • Experience in business analysis, consulting, or client-facing implementation roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Experience configuring and supporting enterprise software solutions.
  • Knowledge of software implementation methodologies, testing processes, and deployment activities.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience developing documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience identifying and managing project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate challenging client situations with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of corporate legal departments and legal operations processes.
  • Understanding of legal terminology, legal billing, matter management, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Experience with AI-enabled workflows, automation technologies, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and implementation frameworks.
  • Experience supporting system integrations and data migration activities.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
