Labcorp is seeking Data Management Asst II to join our team at Yeshwantpur in Bengaluru, Karnataka

Job Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain laboratory tests, test codes, reference ranges, units, result comments, and related information within designated clinical databases with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned workload while consistently meeting quality, productivity, and service level expectations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in assigned clinical database applications and TELD processes.
  • Perform research and analysis related to laboratory test data requests, modifications, and database updates by reviewing historical records, supporting documentation, and stakeholder requirements.
  • Collaborate with global laboratories, business partners, and remote sites to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related issues.
  • Validate and verify database updates to ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of activities, changes, and decisions to support operational and audit requirements.
  • Support implementation of new tests, reference ranges, and laboratory information updates within applicable systems.
  • Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Maintain compliance with departmental SOPs, company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and management to support business objectives.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned training requirements and maintain an accurate, up-to-date training record.
  • Review and adhere to applicable SOPs, work instructions, and quality processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record retention to support business continuity and audit readiness.
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating accountability and ownership.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and customer focus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Life Sciences
  • 6 months or more experience in a laboratory, clinical diagnostics, healthcare, scientific data management, or regulated environment.

  • Basic understanding of laboratory testing, clinical diagnostics, or laboratory operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of laboratory test methodologies, reference ranges, and clinical laboratory terminology.
  • Experience working with databases, data entry, data validation, or laboratory information systems.
  • Understanding of quality systems, documentation practices, and SOP-driven environments.
