We are seeking an experience Project Manager who will focus on new bids and tenders and subsequently be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and project teams to drive performance, manage risk, and create certainty in project delivery.
Some accountabilities will include:
- Lead the delivery of complex projects from initiation through to completion.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Ensure project risks are identified, assessed, and effectively managed.
- Drive project performance through strong commercial and contract management practices.
- Monitor project costs, efficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and motivate project teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of business processes and project governance frameworks
About You:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Project Manager role.
- Demonstrated experience in project and contract management.
- Strong understanding of project schedules, project controls, cost management, and risk management.
- Experience interpreting tender specifications and commercial contracts.
- Proven ability to negotiate contract variations and resolve commercial issues.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams within a matrix organisation.
- A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
stakeholder groups - Ability to travel interstate and internationally as required
