Quality Engineer I
As a Quality Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will contribute to maintaining and improving product quality and reliability within our aerospace operations. You will be involved in quality assurance processes, supporting production teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the safety and performance of aerospace products by identifying quality issues early, driving corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support quality assurance activities including inspections, audits, and process validations to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 1-3 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance roles, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of quality management systems such as AS9100 and ISO standards, and experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem solving methodologies
- Experience with quality data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing processes and supplier quality management
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
