We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Production Services Application Support Analyst to join our Reconciliations Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.

 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Triage, track, and resolve Incidents and Service Requests for Reconciliation applications in a Run-The-Bank (RTB) production environment.

• Follow ITIL Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management processes to support stable and controlled production operations.

• Monitor production environments proactively, respond to alerts, and restore business-as-usual (BAU) service as quickly as possible.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical issues and support problem management actions to improve platform stability.

• Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, and operational automation to strengthen resilience and reduce manual effort.

• Support RTB IPA automation workflows in Logan/1Desk and contribute to operational efficiency improvements.

• Participate in change, release, and deployment activities, including daily, weekly, and weekend implementations as required.

• Support scheduled weekend maintenance windows as part of release and production support responsibilities.

• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) and failover testing to help ensure resiliency and continuity of Reconciliation platforms.

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, middleware, and service desk teams to maintain reliable end-to-end production services.

• Provide clear and timely incident communications, stakeholder updates, and support coordination during production events.

• Drive continuous improvement in monitoring, automation, support processes, and operational governance.

 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• 3–6 years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, or Production Services engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Strong database knowledge with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, and strong SQL skills.

• Working knowledge of shell scripting, Java, and C.

• Experience supporting environments with Java VMs, Linux VMs, and Windows VMs.

• Hands-on experience with ITIL processes, especially Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on stability, prevention, and root cause analysis.

• Strong communication skills for incident handling, stakeholder updates, and cross-team coordination.

• High degree of ownership, accountability, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

 

Preferred qualifications / good to have:

• Experience with Informatica and NDM.

• Familiarity with Kafka and MQ.

• Exposure to IPA tools, NAS, and GSLB configuration.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Moog, AppDynamics, CloudProber, Prometheus, and Splunk.

• Knowledge of Reconciliation business processes and associated operational workflows.

• Prior exposure to HelpDesk or Service Level Management practices.
