The Permit Manager will manage all permit/plan activity in the division. Duties include applying for permits with the respective municipalities, compiling, updating and maintaining reports, meeting with county officials/municipalities, maintaining files, etc.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Supervise the permitting coordinator to ensure on-time starts.
Present, negotiate, and secure architectural approval from County Officials while adhering to required zoning regulations.
Appear in Public Hearings on Company’s behalf regarding site and architectural approvals.
Represent the Company as a Director on multiple HOA Boards.
Requirements
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business or related field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum five (5) years of experience field and planning experience required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience as Director on HOA Boards required.
Knowledgeable in zoning requirements of Virginia counties.
Must possess strong managerial background.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software.
Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Contacts
Daily interaction with various division personnel, outside agencies, business partners, consultants and government officials.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, lift, walk, move and/or carry equipment in excess of 20 pounds. Must have finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard and calculator.
