Back End is a crucial time in an IC development process; Test Equipment engineer must identify the critical points of the device where testing is most necessary and optimize the process and handler capability. It is a precise balance, that has the potential to save our businesses millions of dollars!
This role is pivotal as a Subject Matter Expert in Final Test Automated Test Equipment (ATE) such as Pick and Place, Strip and Turret. You will be responsible for the development and qualification of ATE used in our cutting-edge semiconductor final testing. Experience in SPEA test handler is highly preferred. This position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise to ensure optimal solutions in scalability, flexibility, in product and manufacturability in a fast-paced and innovative environment
Responsibilities include:
- This position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise to ensure optimal solutions in scalability, flexibility, in product and manufacturability in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
- Collaborate with design, product, and manufacturing teams across different time zones to define hardware requirements and ensure testability of new products.
- Document ATE development from conceptual until full qualification release in the factory.
- Drive cost improvement and automation projects.
- Other job as assign by supervisor/manager.
- Ability to travel in short notice
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Min 3 years of relevant experience
- ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT), although Eagle experience is preferred and is a differentiator
- Well verse in all type of Final Test handler and its entire ecosystem especially SPEA handler/ tester
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, and Analog test techniques
- Data analysis skills using Spotfire
- Experience with project management with few projects running in parallel
- Strong understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume production
Preferred qualifications:
- Experienced with Final Test test cell ecosystem in TI manufacturing sites
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results in yield improvement, cost reduction and automation
