This is a local, home daily position operating out of Portage, IN with consistent routes to Indianapolis and surrounding areas.Primary ResponsibilitiesOperate CDL Class A tractor trailer units with end dump trailers in a safe and compliant mannerTransport bulk materials such as solidified non-hazardous liquids, sawdust, and recyclablesPerform safe and controlled dumping operations at designated facilitiesComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment readinessAdditional ResponsibilitiesComplete all required documentation including logs, inspection reports, and delivery recordsEnsure loads are properly secured and handled throughout the transport processMaintain clear communication with dispatch and site personnel regarding routes, deliveries, and any issuesFollow all DOT regulations and company safety protocolsAssist with staging, preloading, and preparation of equipment for the next shift as neededRequired QualificationsCDL Class A license requiredMinimum of 2 years of commercial driving experienceMust be 21 years of age or olderAcceptable driving recordAbility to safely operate manual transmission vehiclesAbility to follow directions and operate within defined route structuresPreferred QualificationsPrior end dump trailer experienceExperience hauling bulk or loose materials in construction, recycling, or industrial environmentsStrong understanding of safe dumping practices and site awarenessPhysical Demands of the RoleAbility to sit, stand, walk, and climb for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, pull, and handle equipment up to 50 lbsAbility to perform tasks such as climbing ladders and accessing trailersAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsSchedule & Work EnvironmentLocal, home daily positionStart times between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AMTypical shifts are 10 to 12 hoursRoutes primarily run between Portage, IN and Indianapolis, with additional nearby locations as neededOccasional weekend work may be required based on business needsPotential for extended runs, though not requiredBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageHealth savings and flexible spending account optionsRetirement savings planPaid time off and company holidaysEmployee assistance programsCompany‑provided safety training and development opportunitiesIn addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits.
