Your new adventure

As an Experienced Designer, you contribute to the development and design of components and modules within powertrain and gearbox systems. You support engineering projects by creating and reviewing designs, ensuring compliance with technical standards and contributing to efficient product development processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and develop components and modules within gearbox and powertrain systems.

  • Create and review technical drawings in accordance with Rotax design standards.

  • Plan and execute assigned design work packages considering functionality, manufacturability, cost and timelines.

  • Collaborate closely with project management, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Support design changes and engineering change requests (ECR) throughout the development process.

  • Contribute to BOM creation and technical documentation.

  • Share expertise in engineering tools (e.g., CAD, SAP) and support other designers.

  • Monitor design progress, report status, and coordinate validation or testing activities when required.

  • Ensure proper integration and interaction of components within the overall system architecture.

Your profile

  • Technical education (HTL) or university degree (Bachelor/Master) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in engine, gearbox, or powertrain development.

  • Experience with CAD tools and engineering systems (e.g. CREO).

  • Strong interest in gear technology, combustion engines and electric powertrains .

  • Passion for motorized recreational vehicles and Rotax powertrain systems.

  • Structured and solution-oriented working style.

  • English skills, German is an advantage
