As a Reference Data Manager within Digital Document Services, you manage business metrics, drive strategic projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement supporting back office, middle office, and global teams. You review legal documentation and input key economic and non-economic parameters from legal agreements into internal systems with strong controls and regulatory compliance. You partner with operations and technology teams to redesign processes, resolve issues, and communicate performance to stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify issues proactively and coordinate with internal partners (client service professionals, legal) to resolve disputed points within agreed timeframes
  • Deliver process controls to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Resolve issues within defined timelines and provide regular updates to senior management on business-as-usual work and projects
  • Generate reports and scorecards, present them in operations calls, and provide capacity and contingency planning
  • Monitor workflow and assist team leaders to support fair distribution of work
  • Manage internal service level agreements and communicate performance to stakeholders through effective reporting
  • Work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs

     

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

 

  • Master of Business Administration in Finance with 8+ years of operations experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, and Project
  • Familiarity with a global bank’s processes and operating environment, including management reporting and external reporting
  • Strong business knowledge of investment banking processes and related system workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of high achievers with diverse experience and skill sets using a strategic approach
  • Inclusive leadership skills to identify talent, recruit, coach, mentor, and develop team members aligned to strategic goals
  • Ability to address day-to-day issues and plan and execute projects and initiatives
  • Judgment to determine when a deep-dive approach is appropriate, with excellent attention to detail

     

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

 

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree with 8+ years of operations experience
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with demonstrated people management skills
