Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Buyer.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What you’ll do:
Primary role of this job is to support the hyperscale products through managing warehouse finished goods, the replenishment of the components and the products that are drop shipped by our suppliers.
Drives purchasing and inventory management practices to assigned products and will apply strong knowledge to ensure products meet quality, delivery, and specification requirements at the lowest possible costs. Identifies new suppliers, negotiates prices, analyzes trends, and expedites orders within functional area of responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Applies skillful negotiations with internal and external suppliers; problems solve and settle disputes; develop win-win resolutions, and create positive relations with tact, diplomacy, and good judgment. B. Defines and applies complex data analysis and analytical tools to ensure warehouse levels comply with customer requirements. C. Drives process for acquiring materials and/or services in order to ensure delivery requirements for commodities and/or service customers. D. Possesses sound knowledge and applications skills of the value chain process; and possesses strong ability to analyze and interpret cost drivers when developing cost out strategies. E. Creates innovative approaches for utilizing and applying project management tools and techniques for procurement applications. F. Prepares reports and other correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals. G. Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement. H. All duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of Company and employee objectives and/or goals.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Three (3)+ years of experience in supply chain work activities
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now and in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility listed will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Additional Information:
This position requires the incumbent to apply analytical and problem-solving skills, which includes a strong knowledge of supply chain and purchasing problem solving tools. Incumbent should possess statistical tools application skills. This position drives value by defining problems and eliminating root causes, and creates supply chain solutions for process improvements. This position has expert knowledge of commodity management including vendor selection, purchasing, performance metrics, and continuous process improvement. This position exhibits expert communications for internal and external customer interactions. This position requires proficient computer-systems knowledge and application skills of both commercially available software (MS Office, Excel, Assess, etc) and ERP systems.
