Location: Guatemala City, Guatemala

Work Type: Full-time Permanent

Work Arrangement: On-site

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday until 12:00 noon.

Opportunity

At Maersk, we connect and simplify global supply chains for our customers. We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Landside Analyst to support inland transportation operations and ensure an efficient, reliable, and differentiated customer experience.

This role plays a key part in coordinating inland transportation activities, maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, while ensuring operational excellence throughout the transportation journey.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, service-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inland transportation activities to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement.
  • Manage transportation requests across different service modes including drayage, cross-border, store-door and standalone transportation services.
  • Monitor shipment milestones and proactively communicate updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify, investigate and resolve transportation-related issues impacting service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Experience, Commercial, Equipment, Procurement, Vendor Performance, Business Development, and Operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, customer requirements, SOPs and transportation documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, transportation regulations and operational procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide visibility and operational updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with transportation vendors and service providers.

We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, International Trade or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, customer service or related operational environments.
  • Understanding of inland transportation and logistics processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Customer-centric attitude and service orientation.
  • Team player with willingness to learn and adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Intermediate English required.
  • Fluent Spanish required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI is considered an advantage. #LI-MP1.
