Director, Knowledge Enablement

Position Summary

As the Director, Knowledge Enablement, you will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of content management practices that support Medicaid proposal development. This role drives operational excellence by ensuring proposal content is accurate, accessible, compliant, and optimized for reuse across a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will partner with proposal leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to enhance content effectiveness, improve team capabilities, and advance innovation through technology and process improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the content management function, establishing strategy, governance, and processes that support high-quality proposal development.
  • Build and maintain content standards, libraries, templates, and workflows that improve content accessibility, consistency, and reuse.
  • Develop and oversee training, onboarding, and change management programs that drive adoption of tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Partner with proposal teams, subject matter experts, and business leaders to strengthen proposal readiness, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Utilize performance metrics, dashboards, and analytics to identify opportunities, drive continuous improvement, and optimize team performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of leadership experience in proposal management, content strategy, knowledge management, or a related enablement function.
  • Experience developing and managing content governance programs, content lifecycle processes, and knowledge management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with experience using data to drive operational improvements.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with content management, collaboration, or proposal automation platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Medicaid Managed Care, healthcare payers, or government-sponsored healthcare programs.
  • Knowledge of healthcare RFP processes, procurement requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Experience implementing change management initiatives related to technology adoption and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence, proposal automation, or content enablement technologies.
  • APMP certification or similar industry credentials.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
