About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead the IT function at our Vietnam manufacturing site. This role combines people leadership, service ownership, and technical direction across office and manufacturing environments. You will act as the senior on-site IT leader, working closely with Operations, Engineering, site leadership, global IT teams, and external suppliers to ensure reliable, secure, and effective IT services that support business and manufacturing operations.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, coach, and develop the local IT team, setting clear priorities, objectives, and accountability.
Own end-to-end local IT service delivery, including SLAs, KPIs, user satisfaction, major incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee IT support across office and manufacturing environments, ensuring reliable and secure IT operations.
Manage the IT aspects of Operational Technology (OT) environments, including infrastructure, connectivity, cybersecurity controls, access management, and supplier coordination.
Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to support production systems, plant IT readiness, new production lines, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with corporate IT security standards, architecture requirements, and governance policies.
Oversee endpoint security, patch management, vulnerability remediation, access controls, and audit action closure.
Manage local IT infrastructure including network, wireless, VPN, and connectivity services in coordination with global IT teams.
Lead local IT projects, system implementations, and global technology rollouts.
Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, assets, and supplier performance while ensuring effective governance and cost control.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or IT management role.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
Proven experience in IT service delivery, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and manufacturing technology support.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID, Intune, networking, and endpoint management solutions.
Experience working with global IT teams, third-party vendors, and external service providers.
Strong written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
