Director of Growth (Asia)

SingaporeFullTimePosted Jul 27, 2026

We are looking for a highly motivated, senior-level Director of Growth to lead Quartermaster’s expansion across Asia. In this role, you will drive revenue growth and build strategic relationships with key government, defense, and commercial clients across the region. You will own the business development lifecycle end-to-end—from identifying and capturing new opportunities to navigating complex regional procurement structures and scaling our footprint. Leveraging a deep understanding of how Indo-Pacific ministries of defense, navies, and coast guards operate, you will bridge our engineering capability with regional customer needs to position Quartermaster’s SmartMast™ platform as the premier maritime domain awareness solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, and capture new business opportunities with government and commercial customers across Asia, managing the sales cycle from qualification through contract close.

  • Build and cultivate senior-level relationships with regional government, military, and commercial partners, championing Quartermaster's mission and technical advantages over legacy systems.

  • Partner with internal engineering and operations teams to grow existing accounts, expand deployments, and ensure successful operational outcomes across the region.

  • Shape regional capture strategies and revenue forecasts informed by Indo-Pacific security dynamics, maritime domain awareness requirements, and competitive intelligence.

  • Track acquisition timing and government buying cycles, developing compelling proposals and business cases to advance opportunities through procurement channels.

  • Scope new markets and strategic locations across the region while establishing scalable, efficient sales and business development processes.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • 10+ years of Business Development or Growth experience, ideally in Defense-Technology, with a demonstrated track record across Asia-Pacific (APAC) government and defense ecosystems.

  • In-depth understanding of regional procurement structures, budgeting cycles, and acquisition processes within ministries of defense, navies, and coast guards.

  • Proven success building or scaling a business development function (0-to-1) in a new geographic region or market.

  • Demonstrated track record of partnering with major commercial and government clients to deploy complex technical solutions that deliver measurable operational results.

  • Deep cultural fluency and operating experience across target regional markets (e.g., Japan, South Korea, the Philippines).

  • Exceptional executive-level communication skills, with comfort briefing company leadership, flag officers, and senior government officials.

  • Ability to travel 25–50% across the region.

Bonus Points:

  • Active U.S. security clearance.

  • Prior military or national security experience in the Indo-Pacific theater.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree.

Work Environment

  • International role with significant regional travel across Asia (25–50%).

  • Flexible working hours with high availability required to manage cross-time-zone stakeholders.

  • Opportunity to lead international growth and shape maritime security strategy for a fast-scaling defense-tech company.
