We’re Hiring: Part -Time Security Officer

📍 Location: Wrexham, UK
💰 Pay: £14.78  per hour
📅 Hours: 2 x 12 hour shifts p/week (Average over a 17-week period = 21 hours p/week) – Days and Night shifts Operation (0600 – 1800) – (1800 -0600)

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Support security lodge operations, adapting to operational requirements and business needs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in accordance with site procedures and client requirements.
• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site.
• Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate. 
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions. 
• Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required. 
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Valid SIA License SG or DS.
• First Aid.
• Driving Licence. 
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Previous security experience
• Good working knowledge of security operations and security systems.
• Ability to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstance and events.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
