The Purpose of the Role

The Finance manager is responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight across the service and software business, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, cost control, and margin optimization.

The role partners closely with operations and commercial teams to support decision-making, manage project risks, and drive financial discipline across the life cycle of projects. It also ensure strong governance, cash flow management, and compliance across the META region while contributing to the achievement of profitable growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Overall financial ownership for the Honeywell technology businesses across the META region covering Orders, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Working Capital.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of business acumen and can quickly grasp the business model and key business drivers to lead growth agenda of the business.
  • Develop strong relationships with the business and commercial leaders in the region to quickly become a trusted business partner.
  • Partner with business teams to understand deals drive forecast accuracy and path to achieving quarterly and annual targets.
  • Utilize partner to handle escalations for the META region. Liaise with global businesses where necessary to ensure coordination and alignment.
  • Plays the role of financial advisor and business advocate whilst maintaining compliance to financial controls, policies and principles.
  • Coordinate and lead financial forecasting for the business including weekly pulse meetings to discuss latest forecast, risks with mitigation plans and opportunities with action plans to deliver financial results.
  • Leads the annual planning process (AOP) for the region and the monthly financial review. Performs ad-hoc analysis to determine business trends and provide decision support with financial information.
  • Works closely with the regional and global supply chain leadership to drive regional revenue, ensuring robust process and KPI’s including past due tracking.
  • Drives cash flow improvement initiatives for the region. Liaison with collections team to understand root cause of receivables past dues and drive timely resolution with the business teams.
  • Reviews of General accounting activities. Ensure books are closed in compliance with accounting rules and policies. Works with regional and global controllers as 

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree. MBA or other applicable post graduate degrees desired.
  • +10 years of Finance experience 
  • Project accounting/commercial knowledge
  • MEA regional knowledge and experience
  • Strong communication and leadership 
  • Agility to drive business within complex/matrixial organization
