Job Description:

Supervises and coordinates daily department activities to ensure efficient operations. Provides leadership support to all department personnel to foster a productive work environment. Monitors and modifies the preventative maintenance program to ensure accurate work sheet information and appropriate assignment. Monitors and modifies the corrective work order program to ensure accurate work sheet information and appropriate assignment. Initiates, coordinates, and supervises contractor/vendor repair activities to ensure timely and quality work. Maintains supply levels of established shop inventory to ensure availability of necessary materials. Investigates and troubleshoots non-routine repair work orders to determine materials needs and work assignments. Makes frequent rounds of the buildings and grounds to identify maintenance repair opportunities. Responds to all inquiries regarding maintenance, repairs, and other department activities to provide timely assistance. Advises facilities leadership of all equipment breakdowns or failures and major building repair needs. Performs assigned corrective maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of equipment and facilities. Completes preventative maintenance assignments according to scheduled intervals, following proper procedures and documenting work. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and A/C systems [Required]
  • Strong understanding of Health and Safety protocols and government regulations pertaining to facilities management [Required]
  • Able to communicate in English [Required]
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]


Education:

  • High School Grad or Equiv or 5+ years relevent experience [Required]


Field of Study:

  • N/A


Work Experience:

  • 2+ supervisory experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Journeyman (JRNYMN) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$26.29 - $48.91
