Job Summary

Are you looking to begin a rewarding career in electrical safety management? The Safety Associate reports directly to the safety leader. This is a client-facing role that requires the ability to build relationships both in and out of the office. The core responsibility of a Safety Associate is to continue learning through on-the-job experience while gaining new responsibilities along the Safety Management career path. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Build long-term relationships with your clients and fellow employees by earning trust through diligent communication and a high-quality work ethic.
• Learn the fundamentals of safety management on large projects and assist safety audits and trainings
• Collaborate with your field leaders to confirm client expectations and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades.
• Assess construction progress, team needs, and issues through regular project visits with your field supervision. 

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree or IBEW licensed electrician
• Strong computer & Microsoft Suite skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to developing time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.

PREFERRED

• Experience working in the construction industry
