Job Description:
Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer (f/m) to join our based in Toulouse, France.
As part of an exciting and challenging new upcoming military Program inside the Military Derivatives department of Air Power, we are building a brand-new team. To achieve this, we are currently looking for several Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineers.

Your Challenges:
As a member of our team, you will develop and perform the following challenging tasks and concurrence activities:
Analyse and validate our metallic parts in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT), and all our composite or hybrid structures as well
Write and/or check stress dossiers, reports or justifications, as well as test programs and reports
Define the justification approaches, and ensure the progress of activities, with the support of Technical Authority and Senior engineers
Support the manufacturing by assessing non-conformities
Work closely with design engineers and interface and communicate with all the relevant stakeholders (experts and civil/military authorities, engineering teams within Airbus and out of Airbus, sub-contractors…)
Your Profile: Abilities, skills and competencies:
As a successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate the following abilities, skills and competences with proved experience:
Master degree in Engineering School (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred)
3 years minimum of experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance
Good level of knowledge of Airbus Calculation methods & tools
Good communication skills
Autonomous approach with a good ability to react and adapt
Open minded and synthetic with capability to step back from activities and propose new ideas
Open to new digital technologies with an understanding of the benefits of the digital solutions
Advanced level of English and French. Spanish would be a plus
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
