CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Design & Construction Project Administrator to join our Architecture & Structural Team in Albany, NY. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support for building design projects across a variety of public and private markets, helping project managers, architects, engineers, and technical teams stay organized, responsive, and aligned with client expectations. What You'll Do:
- Support project managers, architects, engineers, and technical teams with day-to-day administrative and coordination activities to keep projects organized and moving forward
- Assist with scheduling, tracking tasks, and monitoring project progress against established goals, timelines, and budgets
- Prepare, organize, and distribute project documentation including reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, and presentations
- Coordinate project meetings by scheduling sessions, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking action items
- Facilitate communication across internal teams, clients, and external partners to support collaboration and alignment
- Help identify potential project risks or issues and support project teams with tracking and resolution efforts
- Maintain accurate project records, design documentation, construction administration materials, and client-facing deliverables
What You Bring:
- Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project administration or coordinator roles in the construction industry required
- Knowledge of construction administration or building project management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of project management software
- Experience with project management tools (Newforma preferred)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills with close attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- A collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and grow within project management support functions

Salary Range:
$28.84 - $36.05
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
