SkawinaFull-timePosted Aug 6, 2026

Valeo is a tech global company, designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent the mobility. We are an automotive supplier partner to automakers and new mobility actors worldwide. Our vision? Invent a greener and more secured mobility, thanks to solutions focusing on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions. We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.

We are looking for a Business & Manufacturing IS Project Manager to join our team in Skawina. In this role, your primary mission will be to bridge the gap between shop-floor automation and modern Cloud/IS platforms. You will drive the evolution of our Industrial IS ecosystem—leveraging MES, IIoT, PLC connectivity, and Cloud solutions—to streamline operations, support digital transformation, and ensure maximum manufacturing efficiency.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

Project Management & Digital Transformation

  • Drive Industrial IS Evolutions: Lead the deployment, scaling, and integration of modern Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), IIoT solutions, and Cloud-based industrial applications.

  • Legacy Migration & Standardization: Oversee the phase-out/discontinuation of legacy shop-floor tools (e.g., Barflow MES) and lead the migration of functions to modern enterprise platforms (e.g., Jarvis).

  • Governance & Standards: Act as the IS quality leader to ensure the Information Systems Project Methodology (ISPM) is strictly applied across all industrial projects.

  • Group & Site Alignment: Analyze and size the complexity of local site requests while aligning deliverables with global Group digitalization strategies.

OT/IT Convergence & Technical Leadership

  • Shop-Floor to Cloud Integration: Define technical and data architecture requirements connecting edge devices, PLCs, and SCADA systems with MES and Cloud IS platforms.

  • Catena-X Implementation: Act as a technical leader for defining data requirements and executing Catena-X use cases across production sites.

  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage external contractors throughout the software development lifecycle: budget, release planning, functional specification writing/validation, and technical delivery.

  • System Quality Assurance: Validate new software versions, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for key architecture updates, and support local Key Users during deployments.

Operations, Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

  • Level 3 IS Support: Analyze escalated functional/technical incidents, conduct root-cause analyses for critical outages, and decide on code fixes versus systemic evolutions.

  • Community & Network Animation: Build and lead a strong network of local Key Users and Champions; facilitate training, release presentations, and knowledge sharing.

  • Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation for industrial IT/OT architectures, operational recovery plans (DRP), and data refresh protocols.

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU…

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or Information Systems.

  • Experience: 5+ years managing IS/IT projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Industrial IT/OT Architecture: Strong functional and technical knowledge of MES platforms, IIoT architectures, PLC/SCADA integration, and shop-floor data collection.

  • Modern Tech Stack: Understanding of Cloud platforms, modern APIs/microservices, and OT-to-IT data flows.

  • System Migration: Experience in decommissioning legacy software and managing structured migrations to cloud/modern platforms.

  • Project Delivery & Vendor Management: Proven track record in IS project management methodologies (ISPM), vendor delivery management, and release planning.

  • Industry Standards: Familiarity or direct experience with Catena-X or similar automotive data exchange ecosystems is a strong plus.

  • Change Management: Strong leadership skills to train teams, build documentation, and animate cross-functional key user networks.

  • Willing to travel to Czechowice 1-2 days a week.

  • Languages: Fluency in English (daily communication with central/global teams).
