As a senior member of the GPQSS team, you will drive business growth by identifying and developing opportunities in emerging markets and new applications for Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration portfolio. The role requires close engagement with customers, industry stakeholders, and internal business units to develop market strategies, influence early project positioning, and expand Hitachi Energy's presence in key sectors including Offshore Wind, Energy Transition, Data Centers, and Small Modular Reactors (SMR). You will be at the forefront of shaping future business opportunities and advancing the energy transition agenda in Korea and across the region.
How you’ll make an impact
You will cultivate and expand relationships with existing key customers, markets, and segments. Promote our strategic direction and growing portfolio to ensure we deliver optimal value and meet evolving customer needs.
You will identify and explore new markets and segments by listening to customer needs and monitoring market trends also collaborate closely with customers and parallel industry or solution providers to co-develop comprehensive solutions that address specific challenges.
You will roll out and implement innovative business models such as long-term partnerships, exclusive developments, and the Base Load concept. Introduce mechanisms like Frame Agreements and Capacity Reservation Agreements to secure opportunities while ensuring delivery capability, technical optimization, and commercial value for both customers and Hitachi Energy.
You will build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with parallel industries and key suppliers to deliver stronger, system-level solutions that enhance our competitive edge.
You will drive the development and implementation of integrated solutions by leveraging our expanded portfolio including Hitachi and third-party offerings, to bring innovation and differentiation to our customers.
You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in strategic marketing, business development, or customer solutions—preferably in the energy and the Offshore market applications.
Strong experience in the Korean Energy market and Asian Offshore Wind market.
Proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies and building long-term customer relationships.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and customer centricity.
Committed to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate customer needs into business opportunities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures and seniority levels.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
Experience in developing and implementing innovative business models and partnership frameworks.
Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Proficiency in CRM and business analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI).
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
