As part of the Transport & Infrastructure Training & Compliance team, you will be responsible for the successful administration and coordination of our various learning programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- End to end training coordination, uploads, and support T&I teams across NZ
- Collaboration with a geographically dispersed team, supporting training, compliance, and capability
- Upholding Downer’s standards with internal and external Stakeholder relationships
- Financial responsibility for purchase orders, invoice receipting, and onboarding vendors into finance systems
- Supporting Managers to understand and maintain current skills and competencies of their team
- Proactively maintain the Learning Management System
This is a busy, high-volume role supporting teams across New Zealand. Success in the role requires someone who can juggle multiple priorities, stay organised under pressure, work confidently with data, and quickly adapt as priorities shift. Strong Excel skills are essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate Excel skills, with confidence working with data, reporting, and spreadsheets.
- Experience working in a busy administrative or coordination role, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- An understanding of learning and training administration, including experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm when priorities change.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across New Zealand.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative, and take ownership of your workload.
