The impact you’ll make
Join Lam as a Business Operations Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.
What you’ll do
- Define, validate, and align technical requirements with the Account Teams, Sales Operations, and customers to ensure clear scope, feasibility, and customer fit.
- Develop Spin Clean configuration documents and prepare accurate quotes in accordance with the approved Product Option Architecture (POA).
- Create, maintain, and continuously update POAs for assigned products to reflect current product strategy, pricing assumptions, and customer requirements.
- Create new machine Non Standard Requests and link them to the appropriate product configurations to ensure traceability and process compliance.
- Develop evaluation configurations and coordinate alignment with Engineering, Process Engineering and Product Management to support technical validation and customer evaluation activities.
- Analyze and optimize product configurations to reduce costs, improve commercial competitiveness, and maximize profitability.
Who we’re looking for
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience (Graduate of a higher technical college in mechanical/electrical/mechatronic engineering (HTL))
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to establish successful relationships in a multicultural environment with external and internal customers
- Entrepreneurial mindset / hands-on mentality
- Previous work experience in a comparable position
- Work experience in Semiconductor Equipment Industry preferable
- Technical knowledge of Lam Spin Clean product portfolio or similar products preferable
What We're Offering
This position will be occupied in Villach. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group F. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
