Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Developer with 3–5 years of experience to provide L3 application support for Investments & Wealth Management systems within a Core Banking environment. The role involves production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, application enhancements, and collaboration with business and technology teams. The candidate should possess strong .NET and MS SQL development skills, along with exposure to DevOps practices and Wealth Management/Investment Advisory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3 support for Investments & Wealth Management applications.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and application issues.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Develop, maintain, and enhance application components using .NET technologies.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in MS SQL Server.
Support application deployments, releases, and environment management activities.
Collaborate with business users, support teams, and project stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
Monitor application performance and ensure system stability and availability.
Participate in DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline support and release automation.
Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge repositories.
Required Skills:
3–5 years of experience in application development and support.
Strong hands-on experience in .NET (C#/.NET Framework/.NET Core).
Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including query writing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience in L3 production support, incident management, and problem resolution.
Knowledge of Investments, Wealth Management, or Investment Advisory business processes.
Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, etc.).
Experience working in Windows/Open Systems environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps platforms.
Knowledge of REST APIs and integration services.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to application monitoring and logging tools.
Understanding of ITIL processes and service management practices.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
Exposure to financial products such as mutual funds, equities, bonds, and portfolio management solutions.
