JOB SUMMARY
Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infraction of rules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to:
- Patrolling premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of entrances, investigate disturbances, etc.
- Answering questions and providing other information to guests as requested
- Escorting employees with money banks from one destination to another
- Escorting table fills from the cage to the table games area
- Escorting table credits from table games area to cage area
- Check identification of any guest entering the casino to assure they are at least 21 years of age
- Staying informed of services, promotions, and events
- Reporting any irregularities encountered while on duty such as equipment or property damage, theft, or any other unusual occurrences to immediate supervisor
- Assisting and obtaining written or verbal information concerning all reported incidents
- Circulating among guests to preserve order and protect property and guests
- Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees
- Defining problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Interpreting an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables
- Performing duties as shuttle driver and valet when necessary
- Assisting guest with luggage to and from rooms and vehicles
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; Experience in security preferred but not necessary

Qualifications
- Must have the ability to obtain a Gaming License issued by the Mississippi Gaming Commission
- Must hold a valid state issued driver’s license
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Employee must be able to work any day of the week and any shift

- Must know how to drive various vehicles
