Description
CloudBolt Software (www.cloudbolt.io) is helping enterprises control infrastructure chaos through cloud automation and cost optimization. We’re looking for a Support Engineer to help our customers successfully operate and optimize CloudBolt’s StormForge product across complex cloud and Kubernetes environments.In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of customer success—troubleshooting technical issues, supporting production environments, and partnering closely with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes.ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical point of contact for customers, diagnosing and resolving issues related to CloudBolt’s StormForge product, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and integrationsInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems across distributed systems in customer environmentsReproduce issues, analyze logs, metrics, and system behavior, and document findings clearlyCollaborate closely with engineering and product teams to escalate bugs, contribute to root cause analysis, and validate fixesAssist customers with configuration, initial deployments, and best practices for operating StormForge in Kubernetes and cloud-native environmentsCreate and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guidesAdvocate for customer needs by providing feedback to engineering and product teams and occasionally contributing pull requestsContinuously improve support processes, tooling, and operational readinessLearn and apply new technologies to expand technical expertise and improve customer outcomes
Requirements
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience3+ years of experience in a technical support, systems engineering, SRE, or DevOps-related roleHands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and production environmentsFamiliarity with Linux systems, networking concepts, and application logs/metricsAbility to read and understand application code (Go, Python, or similar languages preferred)Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesProven ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environmentExperience supporting SaaS products or enterprise customers is a plusKubernetes certifications (CKA or similar) are a plusWe OfferOur US benefits package includes:Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage401k with Company MatchHealth & Dependent Care FSAUnlimited PTO11 Company HolidaysVolunteer / Community Engagement DayTuition ReimbursementPaid Parental LeaveEquity GrantsHome Internet ReimbursementSalary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 USD Annually, actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
