Senior Structural Engineer - Aircraft Structures (f/m/d)

Key responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis, sizing and structural substantiation for primary and secondary aircraft structures
- Apply classical hand calculations and finite element methods to metallic and composite components
- Prepare, check and approve structural dispositions for deviations and non-conformities
- Create engineering memos, calculation reports and certification documentation
- Support drawing changes, corrective actions and structural improvements
- Contribute to structural test planning and cross-functional technical discussions
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline
- Minimum five years of hands-on structural engineering experience in the aerospace sector
- Strong knowledge of classical stress analysis, sizing and hand-calculation methods
- Experience with NASTRAN, FEMAP or comparable finite element tools
- Experience with aircraft primary or secondary structures; composite knowledge is an advantage
- Fluency in English and willingness to work mostly on-site in the Lucerne area
