Product Specialist – Supply Chain
Position Summary
The Product Specialist – Supply Chain drives value creation and regional business outcomes by evolving ERP product capabilities through targeted enhancements and projects while supporting Product Owners in achieving global convergence.
Positioned at the intersection of strong business proximity and high standardization, the Product Specialist acts as a key enabler of ERP product evolution across the organization.
The Supply Chain Product Specialist will support the following functional areas:
- Purchasing
- Sourcing
- Purchase Requisitions
- Purchase Orders
- Planning / Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver ERP enhancements and process improvements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, standardized ERP solutions.
- Ensure enhancements align with regional and global business strategies.
- Consolidate local process variations into a shared global ERP template, ensuring consistency across regions and alignment with the target operating model.
- Assess and reduce local customizations and process deviations by transitioning toward standardized, globally supported ERP solutions.
- Identify and eliminate duplicated or overlapping processes and solutions.
- Provide expert-level support for complex, non-standard, or recurring system issues.
- Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and convert findings into enhancement backlog items.
- Transfer knowledge to Second-Level Support teams through playbooks, guidelines, and comprehensive documentation.

- Deliver enhancements and projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Maximize time allocation toward strategic enhancement, standardization, and ERP convergence initiatives.

Stakeholder Information Flow
Product Owner
Inbound:
- Architectural guidelines and product-specific priority direction.
- Detailed functional design inputs.
Outbound:
- Regional process considerations and ERP configuration implications.
Second-Level Support
Inbound:
- Critical ticket escalations.
Outbound:
- Specialist expertise and support for critical incidents.
Tech Factory
Outbound:
- Delivery priorities across Run, Enhance, and Converge activities.
Governance Touchpoints
Weekly – Enhancements & Demand Review
- Prioritize enhancement requests.
- Review delivery progress.
- Validate alignment with business objectives.
Bi-Weekly – Second-Level Enablement & Escalation Review
- Review escalations.
- Identify knowledge gaps.
- Define actions for process industrialization and continuous improvement.
Monthly – Product Governance & Roadmap Alignment
- Align regional roadmap priorities with global strategy.
- Assess value delivery and progress against objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation, support, or product management.
- Demonstrated experience driving ERP enhancements and process standardization across multiple regions.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Technical Expertise
- Strong functional knowledge and configuration experience in Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow, including ticket management, workflows, and knowledge base management.
- Experience using SharePoint for documentation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
- Understanding of ERP convergence methodologies and global template design.
