Meet the team:
This role presents an opportunity to join the EMEA Commercial & Sales Training team in a capacity focused on enhancing commercial performance throughout the MEA region. The position is responsible for delivering and continuously refining impactful training solutions that strengthen the capabilities of Sales representatives and Sales Managers.
The incumbent will work collaboratively with Country Commercial Leads, Marketing, Sales Operations, subject- matter experts and cross-functional project leads to ensure that training initiatives are effectively implemented at the local market level. This approach promotes behavioural change and sales excellence, equipping teams with the essential knowledge, skills and tools required to achieve sustainable business results.
Key responsibilities include designing and delivering onboarding, product and selling-skills programs, as well as supporting field adoption through targeted coaching and reinforcement. The Sales Trainer will also manage assigned projects within the Training function, evaluate training effectiveness and systematically enhance the MEA training curriculum based on business objectives, performance metrics and feedback from the field. Where you come in:
· You will partner with MEA Commercial leaders to define training priorities through needs assessments, identifying capability gaps and aligning enablement initiatives to commercial strategy and performance goals.
· You will design and refresh core curriculum (onboarding, product, clinical, competitive and selling skills) in partnership with subject-matter experts for the MEA region.
· You are responsible for delivering instructor-led, virtual and blended learning experiences that build consistent selling behaviours aligned to the commercial strategy.
· You will reinforce learning through field coaching (ride-alongs), observation, role plays and structured feedback aligned to defined competency models.
· You will create training and enablement plans, materials and facilitator guides; produce clear status updates, insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
· You will measure effectiveness of programs using agreed metrics (knowledge checks, certification, field observation, performance trends) and implement continuous improvements.
· You will be a key collaborator with MEA leadership and EMEA Training peers to ensure consistent standards, localisation where needed and alignment to EMEA training strategy.
· You maintain expertise in adult learning principles, facilitation, digital learning tools, and coaching methodologies; recommend the best delivery approach for each audience and objective.
What makes you successful:
• You bring at least 5+ years’ experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical field sales training, enablement or commercial excellence, with experience supporting both primary and secondary care teams within the diabetes segment considered a strong advantage.
• You have demonstrated the ability to assess capability needs, design learning solutions and drive field adoption through coaching and reinforcement.
• You bring a strong business acumen and experience operating in a regulated healthcare / medical device environment within the MEA region.
• You have the ability to communicate complex information clearly and with diplomacy across cultures and levels of seniority.
• You accelerate time‑to‑proficiency for new product launches and innovations across the region.
• You can demonstrate you have strong facilitation, coaching and presentation skills across in-person and virtual settings.
• You influence sustained behaviour change, evidenced through observed selling behaviours.
• You have strong understanding and proficiency with learning technologies, including LMS platforms, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau); advanced Excel skills are preferred.
• You have a strong understanding of sales processes, KPIs and strategic enablement frameworks, including selling methodologies and manager coaching models.
• You communicate with impact, bringing excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience.
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
