At PwC, our Transaction Services team helps clients make informed decisions at critical moments. As a Financial Due Diligence professional, you’ll apply your transaction experience, commercial acumen and analytical expertise to uncover key value drivers, identify risks, and deliver high-quality due diligence that enables successful deals. Based in Brisbane / Meanjin, you’ll work alongside market-leading deal professionals, harness cutting-edge technology, and mentor junior team members while helping clients achieve their growth and investment objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver sharp, commercially focused financial due diligence insights and high-quality reports that support complex transactions and create confidence for our clients.
  • Lead detailed financial analysis across buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements, uncovering key value drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Build a deep understanding of client businesses and sectors to identify what really drives performance, providing clear, actionable insights that help accelerate successful deals.
  • Harness PwC’s cutting-edge technologies — including AI, data analytics and automation — to enhance how you work, elevate the client experience and continually grow your digital capabilities.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and support junior team members through coaching, on-the-job learning and constructive feedback, contributing to a culture of high performance and growth.
  • Join a collaborative deals team where your commercial acumen, curiosity and innovative mindset shape transformative transactions and long-term client outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in transaction services, assurance (e.g. external audit), corporate finance or valuations, with a strong grounding in financial analysis and reporting.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-focused mindset, who brings energy to delivering across multiple engagements.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and emerging technologies to enhance financial analysis, insight generation and the way you work.
  • Skilled at translating complex financial information into clear, compelling narratives for clients, stakeholders and your team.
  • Commercially sharp, with strong business acumen, an eye on market trends and the ability to assess opportunities and provide strategic, value-adding insights.
  • Known for your integrity, empathy and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships internally and with clients.
  • Professionally qualified, ideally with an accounting or finance background (e.g. CA/CPA, CFA, Finsia, MBA, Masters in Finance, Applied Finance or similar).
