What You Will Do
As the Product Manager – Digital Engagement, you will be responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of our some digital engagement products such as websites, streaming, content, communications, etc. You will help organisations reach and engage their communities through connected digital experiences, working closely with product leadership, engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to bring products to market successfully. This role suits a product manager with a technical foundation who is comfortable working across web, video, and messaging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development: Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch across the digital engagement portfolio, including gathering requirements, writing product specifications, and working with engineering and design teams to deliver solutions. Owns the completion of the committed initiatives in the quarter.
Technical Product Ownership: Work confidently across web platforms, content management, video streaming, and email/SMS communications. Partner with engineering on architecture decisions, integrations, and platform trade-offs that affect the customer experience.
Market Research: Conduct research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive products across websites, streaming, content, and communications. Help define each product's position in the market.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse data to track product performance, customer behaviour, engagement metrics, and areas for improvement. Use analytics tools to identify opportunities and recommend improvements across the digital engagement portfolio.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products and features. Serves as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions. Participates in sprint meetings and backlog refinement sessions.
Customer Feedback: Engage with customers and users to gather feedback on existing products, features, and enhancements, with a focus on how organisations create, publish, stream, and communicate with their communities.
Prioritisation: Prioritise the product backlog by evaluating business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility across multiple products. Manages the backlog and prioritises based on changing requirements.
Support Execution: Execute product initiatives and meet deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of projects in alignment with the product strategy. Owns the sprint and quarterly coordination of key initiatives across the digital engagement portfolio.
Who You Are
Passionate and enthusiastic about helping purpose driven organisations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of experience in product management, with experience managing technical or platform products preferred
Technical background preferred, with working knowledge of web technologies (CMS platforms, APIs, HTML/CSS), video streaming, or email/SMS delivery systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple products and projects simultaneously
A passion for technology and understanding customer needs and product usability
Experience with tools like Aha, Monday.com, or other product management software is a plus; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
