Strategy Analyst – Public Service, Non-Profits & Intergovernmental Organizations
THE WORK:
- Join our Strategy practice as part of the Public Service team and help mission-driven organizations address complex societal challenges and maximize their impact.
- Work side by side with global, cross-functional teams supporting governments, non-profit organizations, multilateral agencies, intergovernmental organizations (IGOs), international foundations, and supranational institutions.
- Support strategy and transformation projects that help public-purpose organizations modernize operations, improve program effectiveness, strengthen governance, and deliver better outcomes for the communities they serve.
- Conduct research and analysis across public policy, international development, social impact, and institutional effectiveness topics to support evidence-based recommendations and strategic decision-making.
- Help clients align their strategies, programs, and operating models with international development frameworks, public sector priorities, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Support the design and structuring of initiatives, partnerships, coalitions, and programs that bring together multiple stakeholders around shared goals and impact agendas.
- Contribute to the preparation and facilitation of workshops, working sessions, and multi-stakeholder engagements, including agenda development, background materials, and synthesis of outcomes.
- Develop high-quality deliverables including presentations, reports, frameworks, insights papers, and recommendations for senior client stakeholders.
- Support project governance and PMO activities, including maintaining project plans, trackers, action logs, status reporting, risk management, and coordination across workstreams.
- Monitor developments across the public sector and international development landscape, including funding trends, policy changes, regulatory developments, and emerging best practices.
- Build knowledge of multilateral institutions, development banks, intergovernmental organizations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations, including their governance models, mandates, and operating environments.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients across different geographies, cultures, and time zones to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, research publications, white papers, and strategic insights supporting Accenture’s presence in the Public Service market.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Development Economics, Economics, Political Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in management consulting, international development, public sector, government, non-profit organizations, multilateral institutions, or other mission-driven organizations
- Experience supporting complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, governance structures, and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to structure and present ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Interest in public service, international development, social impact, sustainability, or mission-driven organizations.
- Willingness to work in a consulting environment, collaborate with international teams, and support client engagements across diverse topics.
- Willingness to travel and work on client assignments as required.
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies including problem structuring, stakeholder analysis, operating model design, program strategy, and organizational transformation.
- Experience preparing client-facing deliverables, reports, presentations, frameworks, and workshop materials.
- Exposure to PMO activities, project governance processes, status reporting, risk tracking, or cross-functional coordination.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools and digital solutions to improve research, analysis, and deliverable quality.
- International academic or professional experience, additional language skills, and cross-cultural collaboration experience are considered strong assets.
