Myers, Florida.The EIT position is intended for a broad land development and public works professional, with experience across site civil design, permitting, and project delivery. This role involves all aspects of site and infrastructure design projects from inception through planning, design, and support of construction efforts for a wide variety of public- and private-sector clients all across the state of Florida.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited programA minimum of 2 years of experience in civil/site development, preferably in FloridaPassed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) ExamFlorida PE license or ability to obtain within 2 yearsEngineering-in-Training (EIT) certification or have the ability to obtain within a year of employmentProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DProficiency in editing SpecificationsExperience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projectsMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travelPreferred:Ability to train, mentor, and lead othersGIS experience and familiarity with permitting processes (e.g., ADEC, municipal codes)Knowledge of sustainable site design and low-impact development practicesExperience with subdivision design, commercial site planning, and public infrastructureAdditional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
